I was born and raised in the Magic Valley along with my 4 sisters. I graduated high school from Minico and got a BS in Psychology from U of I. My family owned and operated a restaurant from 1929 until Covid in 2021. I worked there, and in my own restaurant, from the time I could help (about 10) until I sold my restaurant in 1999 and began working in the mental health field while working to get my masters in Mental health counseling. I worked as a substitute teacher for 2 years since most my clients were children and I did not like to pull them from school When the opening came up at Wendell as a school counselor I felt it was a good fit for me. I am now starting my 8th year here in Wendell. I am married to Jo Marie and I have 4 children. Calvin, Linda, Katie, Matthew. I have one grandson, Jude, who I love to visit (spoil). I enjoy fishing, pickleball and other sports (mostly watching now), and occasional trips to Jackpot or Wendover.
